Refund Policy

1. Introduction

This Refund Policy applies to all subscriptions and add-ons purchased through RaceMap Studio (the "Service"), operated by Terranaut (Pty) Ltd.

All purchases are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"), who acts as the Merchant of Record for all transactions. This policy should be read alongside Paddle's buyer terms, available at https://www.paddle.com/legal/terms.

2. Merchant of Record

Paddle.com Market Limited is the Merchant of Record for all RaceMap Studio transactions. Paddle handles billing, invoicing, VAT/sales tax collection, and payment processing on our behalf. Refund requests are processed through Paddle's payment infrastructure.

3. Subscription Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at hello@terranaut.io.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you will retain full access to the Service until then. No partial refunds are provided for unused time within a billing period upon cancellation.

4. Refund Eligibility

We offer a 14-day refund window from the date of your initial subscription purchase. If you are not satisfied with the Service within 14 days of your first payment, you may request a full refund.

Refund requests must be submitted by emailing hello@terranaut.io within the 14-day window. Refunds for renewal payments (monthly or annual) are considered on a case-by-case basis and are generally not guaranteed.

5. Refund Process

To request a refund:

  • Email hello@terranaut.io with your account email address and the reason for your request.
  • We aim to respond to all refund requests within 3 business days.
  • Approved refunds are processed by Paddle and typically returned to your original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.
  • Refunds are issued in the original currency of payment.

6. Annual Subscriptions

Annual subscriptions benefit from discounted pricing compared to monthly billing. The 14-day refund window applies from the date of purchase.

After the 14-day window, annual subscriptions are non-refundable but may be cancelled to prevent renewal at the end of the annual term. You will retain access to the Service for the remainder of your paid period.

7. Add-Ons

Paid add-ons (such as Sponsor Integration and Route Tour Flyover) follow the same refund policy as subscriptions. If an add-on is purchased after your initial subscription, the 14-day refund window applies from the date of the add-on purchase.

8. Free Trials

If a free trial is offered, no charge is made during the trial period. If you cancel before the trial ends, no payment will be taken and no refund is needed.

If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you will be charged at the applicable subscription rate. The standard refund policy then applies from the date of the first charge.

9. Chargebacks and Disputes

If you have a billing concern, please contact us at hello@terranaut.io before initiating a chargeback with your bank or payment provider. We are committed to resolving billing issues promptly and fairly.

10. Exceptions

We reserve the right to refuse refunds in cases of abuse, fraud, or violation of our Terms of Service. Accounts terminated for breach of our Terms are not eligible for refunds.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. The policy in effect at the time of your purchase applies to that transaction.
